One particular photo caught the attention of fans: a picture of RM sporting a diamond ring and tagging Jin, who is currently fulfilling his mandatory military service. ARMYs quickly identified the ring as an 18K white gold and diamond FRED Force 10 Rise Ring, with an estimated value of $8,400.
The placement of the ring on RM's fourth finger led to humorous comments and speculation about a potential "Namjin" (RM and Jin) wedding. RM addressed the situation during a Weverse live broadcast. He explained that Jin had given him the ring as a birthday gift during a gym visit. RM clarified that he was wearing the ring on his fourth finger simply because it didn't fit any other finger. He humorously recounted how Jin had insisted on trying the ring on different fingers, but to no avail. "The reason I'm wearing it on my 4th ring finger is because it only fits there. Jin-hyung kept asking, 'Doesn't it fit anywhere else??' It really doesn't fit on any other finger. Let me show you! Jin hyung even tried to put it on here, but it didn't fit. If it goes in here, it won't come off—it gets stuck. So I had no choice but to wear it on my ring finger! I'm not gonna married, I'm not married (sic)," RM stated.
