The past few months have been incredibly difficult for Kiku Sharda, the well-known comedian from "The Kapil Sharma Show," as he has experienced the profound loss of both his parents. His mother passed away in July, and his father followed a month later. Kiku shared his grief and memories in a heartbreaking post on Instagram.
In his post, Kiku wrote, "Lost them both within the last 2 months. My maa and my papa". He expressed the deep void left by their absence and reminisced about the special bond he shared with each of them.
Kiku particularly remembered his mother's involvement in his career. She would give him feedback on his TV shows, pointing out his mistakes and successes. He wondered who would now call him after every episode of "KBC" (Kaun Banega Crorepati) to discuss Amitabh Bachchan's performance. "Maa- aapki bahut yaad aati hai maa, aapke bina life ke baare mein kabhi socha nahi tha," he expressed, meaning he never imagined life without her.
He described his father as a strong and confident man who lived life to the fullest. His father always had plans for his children and grandchildren, and family was the most important thing to him. Kiku admired his father's unwavering positivity, even during life's toughest challenges, and learned invaluable lessons from him. "Positivity is how I describe you," Kiku wrote about his father, "I have never seen anyone to be as positive as you".
In his farewell, Kiku lamented their sudden departure and the unspoken words and unfinished conversations. "Aap dono ne jaane mein jaldbaazi kar di. Thoda ruk jaate, kuch baatein baaki thi," he wrote, meaning they left in a hurry, and some things were left unsaid. He concluded his post with a touching message: "You promised each other to be together forever and together you are. Miss you maa and pa".
The comedian was in the USA with Kapil Sharma and others for their tour when his mother passed away.
Kiku's friends and colleagues from the industry offered their condolences and support. Bharti Singh, Gaurav Gera, and Mahima Chaudhary left heart emojis and messages of sympathy. JD Majethia wrote, "Kiku, brother, after reading this post, I am feeling so sad, I can understand what you must be going through. No words can erase this pain, only time teaches us to live with their memories. May God give strength to you and your family to get through this time, and our prayers for the peace of the departed soul". Ali Asgar also expressed his sadness and offered heartfelt condolences.
Kiku Sharda's emotional post resonated with many who have experienced similar losses. His tribute to his parents highlighted the importance of family, the pain of separation, and the enduring power of love and memories.
