Kajol recently revealed that Karan Johar has expressed interest in launching her daughter, Nysa Devgn, in Bollywood. According to Kajol, she has received a few calls from the filmmaker regarding the potential debut.

Nysa Devgn, daughter of actors Kajol and Ajay Devgn, will be 22 years old this year. While many star kids have already entered the film industry, Nysa has yet to make her Bollywood debut. In the past, Kajol has mentioned that her daughter was not keen on joining Bollywood, at least for the time being. In April 2025, Kajol stated that Nysa had "made up her mind" about not entering Bollywood "at the moment".

Karan Johar and Kajol share a close friendship and have collaborated on several iconic films, including "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge," "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai," and "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham". Their bond extends beyond professional collaborations, with Kajol often sharing anecdotes about their playful camaraderie.

In an old episode of "Koffee With Karan," Karan Johar playfully inquired about how Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan would react if Aryan Khan (Shah Rukh's son) and Nysa Devgn eloped. Kajol responded in a lighthearted manner, referencing their film "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge," while Shah Rukh Khan jokingly expressed his stress at the thought of being related to Kajol.

Nysa Devgn has been gaining attention on social media, with many fans speculating about her potential Bollywood debut. However, as of now, Nysa is yet to showcase her acting talent. Kajol has also mentioned Nysa's influence on her social media presence, stating that Nysa encouraged her to join Instagram.

While Nysa's current stance seems to be against joining Bollywood, her mother has said that she might change her mind in the future. In the meantime, Kajol is supportive of her daughter’s decisions, as she was seen cheering for Nysa at her graduation ceremony where Nysa received her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in International Hospitality from the Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland.
