The stars of the hit romantic film Saiyaara, Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, are reportedly dating in real life, but have been asked to keep their relationship under wraps. Rumors of a romance between the two sparked due to their undeniable on-screen chemistry in the Mohit Suri-directed musical.

Speculation about their relationship intensified after several public appearances. One such instance involved Ahaan and Aneet leaving a luxury brand showroom in Mumbai, accompanied by Ahaan's mother, Deanne Panday. Ahaan's gesture towards Aneet in a video that went viral, where he appeared to offer her his hand, further fueled the dating rumors. Fans have been quick to express their excitement and support for the couple, with comments like "They're definitely dating!" and "We want to see them together on-screen again – the chemistry is unreal!" flooding social media.

According to a report, a source close to producer Aditya Chopra revealed that Ahaan and Aneet's love story began organically while filming Saiyaara. The source stated that Aneet's innocence and vulnerability led Ahaan to be protective of her, and their friendship eventually blossomed into a deep love. The insider was quoted as saying, "Theirs is one of the most beautiful love stories in the entertainment industry. It happened organically while they were shooting together for Saiyaara. She was innocent and vulnerable. He looked after her during the shooting. They drew close as they worked. Eventually, friendship turned into a deep love. Aneet and Ahaan are in a committed relationship".

Despite their strong connection, Aditya Chopra, who launched them in Saiyaara and has signed them for three films, has advised them to keep their relationship private. The rationale behind this decision is the belief that publicly acknowledging their relationship could negatively impact their rising careers. The producer apparently feels it is too early in their careers for them to be declared as 'non-single' as it may erode their popularity. Therefore, they will not publicly admit to dating at the moment.

Saiyaara has been a massive success, grossing over ₹570 crore worldwide and becoming the highest-grossing love story in Indian cinema history. The film, which has now been released on OTT platforms and is receiving equal appreciation, marked a significant moment for both Ahaan and Aneet, who made their Bollywood debuts with it. Fans have even named a star in the sky "Saiyaara" as a gift to the actors. Ahaan and Aneet were overwhelmed by this gesture, with Ahaan saying, "Seeing this now feels like the film found its place in the universe, somewhere in the galaxy where beautiful things go after they leave," and Aneet adding, "Stories don't end, they just find new skies".
