Dhanush's upcoming film, "Idli Kadai," is generating considerable buzz as its October 1st release date approaches. The movie, which features Dhanush as both the lead actor and director, has fans eagerly awaiting its arrival in theaters.

Adding to the anticipation, Dhanush recently shared a new poster for "Idli Kadai," further fueling excitement among his fans. The poster's release has been met with enthusiastic responses, with many expressing their eagerness to see the film.

"Idli Kadai" boasts an ensemble cast, including Nithya Menen, Arun Vijay, Sathyaraj, Rajkiran, Shalini Pandey, R. Parthiban, and P. Samuthirakani. G. V. Prakash Kumar has composed the film's music, with Kiran Koushik handling cinematography and Prasanna GK serving as editor.

Dhanush has clarified that "Idli Kadai" is an original story inspired by his childhood experiences and the people he encountered in his village. He emphasized that the film is not based on the life of a popular chef, as some rumors had suggested. Dhanush also addressed trolls who mocked his childhood struggles, explaining that his family's financial situation improved after his father, Kasthuri Raja, became a director.

The film's promotional activities are in full swing, with Dhanush and his team holding events in various cities. Recently, Dhanush visited Trichy amidst heavy rain, where he captivated the audience by singing "Enjaami Thandhaane" from "Idli Kadai".

In a unique promotional strategy, the "Idli Kadai" team has partnered with Zepto, a quick-commerce company, to feature the film on customized delivery bags. This marks the first collaboration of its kind for a South Indian film, with Dhanush's picture and the movie's title appearing on Zepto delivery bags across Chennai.

Advance bookings for "Idli Kadai" began on September 28, and the film is expected to have a strong opening at the box office. Despite competition from "Kantara Chapter 1," trade sources are confident that "Idli Kadai" will dominate the Tamil Nadu box office. Some reports speculate that "Idli Kadai" could surpass the records set by Dhanush's previous films, "Raayan" and "Kubera".

"Idli Kadai" is scheduled to be released in theaters on October 1, coinciding with the Ayudha Puja holiday. The film will also be released in Telugu under the title "Idli Kottu".
