Farhan Akhtar's '120 Bahadur' Teaser 2: A Tribute to Soldiers with Lata Ji's Immortal Song.

The upcoming film "120 Bahadur," starring Farhan Akhtar, has released its second teaser, paying tribute to the iconic Lata Mangeshkar and honoring the soldiers who lost their lives in the 1962 India-China war. The teaser was launched on September 28, 2025, coinciding with Mangeshkar's birth anniversary, and it incorporates her timeless patriotic song "Ae Mere Watan Ke Logon".

"120 Bahadur" is inspired by the real-life Battle of Rezang La, a pivotal chapter of the 1962 Indo-China War. The film tells the story of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, PVC (played by Farhan Akhtar), and the 120 soldiers of Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon Regiment, who valiantly defended the Rezang La Pass against a much larger Chinese force. The film is a tribute to their courage, unity, and ultimate sacrifice.

Farhan Akhtar expressed that unveiling the Teaser 2 of "120 Bahadur" on Lata Mangeshkar's birth anniversary is special because the legendary singer is celebrated for her patriotic songs, especially "Ae Mere Watan Ke Logon". He added that the song was written for the brave soldiers and martyrs of the 1962 India-China war, and its message aligns with the film's heartfelt lyrics.

The film is directed by Razneesh 'Razy' Ghai and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under Excel Entertainment, in collaboration with Amit Chandrra's Trigger Happy Studios. "120 Bahadur" was shot in real locations in Ladakh and Rajasthan to capture the authenticity of the high-altitude battlefields. Besides Farhan Akhtar as Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, the cast includes Raashi Khanna, Vivan Bhatena, Ankit Siwach, Dhanveer Singh, and Sahib Verma. The film is slated to release in theaters on November 21, 2025.

The Battle of Rezang La took place on November 18, 1962, where Charlie Company of the 13th Kumaon Regiment faced over 3,000 Chinese troops at an altitude of approximately 18,000 feet. Despite being heavily outnumbered and outgunned, the 120 Indian soldiers held their position, inflicting heavy casualties on the attacking force. It is reported that 114 of the 120 Indian soldiers died, five were wounded and captured but later escaped, and one soldier was sent back to relay the tale to headquarters. The bravery and sacrifice of these soldiers is a testament to their unwavering dedication to protecting their country.

"120 Bahadur" aims to bring this historic battle to life, showcasing the courage, patriotism, and brotherhood of the soldiers who fought against all odds. The film is a tribute to the unsung heroes of Rezang La and a reminder of their immortal defiance.
