Raghav Juyal's Bollywood Doubts Erased: Aryan Khan's Charm and a Visit to Mannat Changed His Mind.

Raghav Juyal, known for his dynamic performances, recently shared his experiences working with Aryan Khan on the Netflix series, "The Ba***ds of Bollywood". In an interview, Juyal revealed that he initially held certain preconceived notions about Aryan, expecting him to be like other Bollywood star kids who primarily speak in English. However, his perception changed after spending time with Aryan and visiting his home, Mannat.

Juyal was surprised to find that Aryan has a strong command of Hindi and comfortably converses in the language unless there's a specific need to switch to English. He attributed this to Aryan's upbringing and the cultural values instilled in him by his family. According to Juyal, the atmosphere at Mannat is rooted in Indian tradition, with a blend of Delhi and Punjabi influences. He noted that Gauri Khan often speaks to Aryan in Hindi, creating a warm and familial environment. Juyal stated that Shah Rukh Khan's family is very "Indian" and deeply "rooted".

"The Ba***ds of Bollywood," marks Aryan Khan's debut as a director and writer. The series is a satirical take on the Hindi film industry, exploring themes of nepotism, vanity, and the chaos that unfolds behind the scenes. The show features Bobby Deol, Lakshya Lalwani, Sahher Bambba, and Anya Singh in prominent roles. Juyal plays Parvaiz, the loyal best friend of Aasmaan Singh (Lakshya), an ambitious newcomer navigating the world of fame.

Juyal has expressed admiration for Aryan's clarity of vision and his ability to extract the best performances from the cast. Bobby Deol echoed this sentiment, noting Aryan's meticulous approach to directing and his dedication to achieving the desired outcome for each scene. Deol even stated that he felt like he was being directed by his own son, highlighting Aryan's conviction and clarity.

One particular scene featuring Juyal and Emraan Hashmi has gone viral, earning widespread praise. In the scene, Juyal's character, a die-hard fan of Hashmi, performs the song "Kaho Na Kaho" from the film "Murder". Juyal revealed that he put his heart and soul into the scene, even singing the Arabic verses. He also mentioned that he and Aryan both anticipated the positive reaction to the scene. Juyal said that while filming the scene with Emraan Hashmi, he actually started crying.

Juyal has also spoken about his bond with Aryan, describing them as being "mischievous". He noted that their combined energy on set often led to unexpected and creative outcomes. According to Juyal, Aryan has a playful side that he only reveals to his close friends and colleagues. He mentioned that Aryan has a habit of not smiling in front of the camera, which Juyal finds endearing.

"The Ba***ds of Bollywood" premiered on Netflix on September 18, 2025, and has received positive reviews from critics. Critics have lauded Aryan Khan's direction, the storyline, screenplay, and the performances of the cast. The series is produced by Gauri Khan under Red Chillies Entertainment.
