Michael Saylor Predicts $150K Bitcoin Price in 2025, Unfazed by Trump's Potential Tariff Impacts.

Despite renewed tariff concerns sparked by stalled trade negotiations between the U.S. and China, MicroStrategy co-founder Michael Saylor is maintaining a bullish outlook on Bitcoin, forecasting a price surge to $150,000 by the end of 2025.

This week began with signs of recovery in the cryptocurrency market following a $19 billion crash earlier in the month. Increased demand for digital assets emerged, fueled by optimism that the U.S. and China would soon resolve their trade disputes. Investor attention was primarily focused on the meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping, which was aimed at securing a trade agreement and preventing new import tariffs.

However, this positive trend reversed course on Wednesday when Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) experienced $470 million in outflows, despite the U.S. Federal Reserve's decision to cut interest rates by 25 basis points. Investor worries were further exacerbated on Thursday when the tariff meeting between the two presidents concluded without any significant announcements regarding import tariffs, creating increased uncertainty for global and digital asset markets.

Saylor, whose company MicroStrategy holds the largest Bitcoin treasury, remains confident in Bitcoin's potential. Speaking at the Money 20/20 conference in Las Vegas on Monday, Saylor highlighted several factors contributing to his positive outlook. These include the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) increasing acceptance of tokenized securities, U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent's endorsement of stablecoins as a means to protect the dominance of the U.S. dollar, and the overall shift in the regulatory landscape in the U.S..

"I think that these 12 months have probably been the best 12 months in the history of the industry," Saylor told CNBC. He added, "Our expectation right now is that by the end of the year, it should be about $150,000, and that's the consensus of the equity analysts who cover our company and the...".

While the lack of progress in U.S.-China trade talks has introduced volatility into the market, Saylor's continued confidence suggests that fundamental factors are still driving a positive long-term outlook for Bitcoin. This perspective offers a degree of reassurance to investors navigating the complexities of the cryptocurrency market amid global economic uncertainties.
