The surge followed the company's announcement of a 43% surge in Q2 profit, driven by robust demand across all its business segments. The company's revenue also increased by 14% year-on-year, while expenses rose by 8.7%. 3M India reported a net profit of ₹191 crore for Q2 FY26, a 43% increase compared to the previous year, with revenue rising 14% to ₹1,266.5 crore. The company's EBITDA also climbed nearly 40% to ₹255.5 crore. All four of 3M India's business segments demonstrated growth, ranging from 12.3% to 14.9%.

Bharti Airtel Gains on Strong Q2 Performance

Bharti Airtel shares also saw a positive movement, rising by 2.5%. This increase can be attributed to the telecom giant's impressive Q2 results, where it reported an 89% year-on-year surge in net profit, reaching ₹6,792 crore. The company's revenue also grew by 25.7% to ₹52,145.4 crore. Furthermore, Airtel's average revenue per user (ARPU) increased by 9.8% to ₹256. Jefferies has released a bullish note on Airtel, increasing the target price to ₹2,635.

The market's subdued opening on Tuesday was influenced by uncertainty surrounding the U.S. Federal Reserve's future rate decisions, as well as a lack of clarity on U.S.-India trade talks.

On Monday, November 3, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) net sold shares worth ₹1,686.55 crore, while domestic institutional investors (DIIs) purchased shares worth ₹3,273.65 crore.
