The drama surrounding actor Abhishek Bajaj, currently a contestant on Bigg Boss 19, has escalated following accusations from his ex-wife, Akanksha Jindal. Bajaj, who was married to Jindal from 2017 to 2023, is now facing allegations of infidelity and being a "liar". Jindal has publicly claimed that Bajaj was unfaithful during their marriage and has a habit of "hiding facts".

Following his eviction from Bigg Boss 19, Bajaj addressed these allegations in an interview with SCREEN, dismissing them as "baseless". He further accused Jindal of attempting to exploit his newfound fame, labeling her a "social parasite". Bajaj also stated that actress Donal Bisht is being unnecessarily dragged into the controversy.

Adding fuel to the fire, reports have surfaced alleging that Bajaj was in a relationship with actress Donal Bisht while still married to Jindal. According to News18, a source claimed that Bajaj and Bisht were involved for a short period, but the relationship ended quickly because Bajaj "wasn't serious". However, another source told the publication that Bajaj and Bisht dated after his separation from Jindal. Bisht, who appeared on Bigg Boss 15, has not commented on the matter.

Jindal initially made her allegations in an Instagram story, reacting to a clip of Bajaj talking about his past. She accused him of only pretending to be nice and saying what people want to hear. Jindal also claimed that Bajaj had hurt her and other women. She also accused him of lying about his age and marital status on national television.

Bajaj has also explained his decision to keep his divorce private, stating that he didn't want Jindal to face "chaos" because of him, especially if she had moved on and settled in her life. Jindal, in a previous interview, described their divorce as a result of a long-distance relationship, stating that "everything just shattered" and left her "heartbroken". She also clarified that their separation occurred on August 18, 2023, contrary to earlier reports suggesting they parted ways in 2020. She addressed online criticism questioning the timing of her allegations, which surfaced years after their initial separation.

Amidst the controversy, Bajaj's close bond with fellow Bigg Boss 19 contestant Ashnoor Kaur has also garnered attention, with many speculating a romantic connection between the two. However, both Bajaj and Kaur have maintained that they are just good friends. Previously, Bajaj has denied dating rumors and stated that he is currently single and focusing on his career.
