Dharmendra's Health Improves, Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar Trailer Delayed Following Delhi Incident: Updates and News

Mumbai and Delhi are currently at the center of breaking news, involving both the health of veteran actor Dharmendra and the aftermath of a blast in the nation's capital.

Veteran actor Dharmendra, 89, was admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital on Monday after reportedly experiencing breathing difficulties. Initial reports suggested his condition was critical, with some outlets claiming he was placed on a ventilator. However, these claims were quickly refuted by family sources. A representative for Dharmendra's son, Sunny Deol, stated that the actor is stable and under observation, urging the public to avoid spreading false rumors. Hema Malini, Dharmendra's wife, also slammed the media for "irresponsible" reporting and spreading false news about his death. She stated that he is "responding to treatment and is recovering". Esha Deol also confirmed that her father is stable and recovering. Several Bollywood celebrities, including his sons Sunny and Bobby Deol, and reportedly Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, were seen visiting the hospital to check on his well-being. Dharmendra had been hospitalized 11 days prior for a routine check-up after complaining of breathing difficulties. Doctors have not released any official statement.

In a separate incident, the trailer launch of Ranveer Singh's upcoming film Dhurandhar has been postponed following a fatal blast in Delhi. The incident occurred on Monday evening near the Red Fort, resulting in at least 12 deaths and multiple injuries. The explosion, which took place at approximately 6:52 PM near the Subhash Marg traffic signal, involved a white Hyundai i20. The blast was so powerful that it caused damage to nearby vehicles and shattered windows in the vicinity.

The Dhurandhar team released an official statement expressing condolences to the victims and their families. "The Dhurandhar Trailer Launch scheduled for 12th November has been postponed, as a mark of respect to the victims and families affected by yesterday's Delhi blast," the statement read. A new date for the trailer launch is yet to be announced. Dhurandhar is a spy thriller directed by Aditya Dhar and stars Ranveer Singh, alongside Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, and Akshaye Khanna. The film is slated for release on December 5, 2025.

Meanwhile, investigations into the Delhi blast are underway, with the National Investigation Agency (NIA) taking over the case. Authorities are exploring all possibilities and conducting a thorough investigation. CCTV footage has emerged showing the suspect and the vehicle involved. Preliminary investigations suggest the involvement of a "white-collar" terror module, possibly linked to a group in Faridabad. A doctor from Pulwama is under suspicion of driving the car. Home Minister Amit Shah has instructed forensic teams to match samples from the bodies found in the car.
