Sushmita Sen and Her Mother Invest Rs 16.89 Crore in Mumbai Apartments: Purchase Details Revealed.

Mumbai, December 1, 2025 – Veteran Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen and her mother, Subhra Sen, have reportedly invested in two apartments in Mumbai, totaling ₹16.89 crore. The properties are located in the Elysian project developed by Oberoi Realty in Goregaon East.

According to real estate marketplace Square Yards, the property registration documents reveal that the purchases were registered in November 2025. Subhra Sen has acquired two apartments in the same project, each with a RERA carpet area of 163.59 sq. m. (1,760 sq. ft.).

The first apartment was purchased for ₹8.40 crore, with a stamp duty payment of ₹42.02 lakh and registration charges of ₹30,000. This purchase includes one car parking space. The second apartment was acquired for ₹8.49 crore, and a stamp duty of ₹42.49 lakh was paid along with registration fees of ₹30,000. This unit also comes with one parking spot.

Efforts to reach Subhra Sen for comment were unsuccessful.

Elysian by Oberoi Realty has seen considerable sales activity, with 172 registrations and a total transaction value of ₹1,715 crore, according to Square Yards Data Intelligence. The average property price in the project is ₹47,641 per sq ft.

Goregaon East offers connectivity through the Western Express Highway, Jogeshwari–Vikhroli Link Road (JVLR), and the Goregaon railway station, providing access to commercial hubs like Andheri, Powai, and Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC).

Sushmita Sen, the first Miss Universe from India in 1994, has had a successful career in the Indian entertainment industry. She resides in a sea-facing apartment in Versova, Mumbai.
