Logitech MX Master 4 Launched in India with Haptic Feedback, Fast Charging and More: Details
Logitech has launched the MX Master 4 in India, the latest addition to its MX Master series designed for creative professionals, developers, and business users. The MX Master 4 introduces customizable haptic feedback, an enhanced software experience, and improved connectivity.
The Logitech MX Master 4 will be available in Graphite and Pale Grey color options, with a price tag of Rs. 15,995. For a limited time, it will also be available on Amazon.in for Rs. 11,995. Each purchase includes a one-month complimentary membership to Adobe Creative Cloud, providing access to apps like Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro.
One of the key features of the MX Master 4 is its customizable haptic feedback. This feature provides subtle vibrations during scrolling, navigation, and selection, enhancing precision for tasks like video editing, design work, and data analysis. The intensity of the haptic feedback can be adjusted through Logitech's Options+ software, or it can be disabled entirely. The haptic motor creates distinct tactile signatures for different actions, such as a bump when first pairing the mouse or when moving between devices.
The MX Master 4 also introduces the Actions Ring, a digital overlay enabled through the Logi Options+ software. This customizable overlay allows users to place frequently used tools and app-specific shortcuts directly on the screen. Logitech claims that professionals using the Actions Ring can save up to 33% of their time and reduce repetitive mouse movements by as much as 63%, particularly in applications like Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Excel.
Under the hood, the MX Master 4 features an 8,000 DPI sensor for smooth and accurate tracking on virtually any surface, including glass. The MagSpeed scroll wheel allows users to scroll up to 1,000 lines per second, while delivering a tactile feel with 90% less noise compared to the MX Master 3. The MX Master 4 supports multi-device pairing, enabling quick switching between up to three devices across operating systems. Users can switch between devices using the Actions Rings or Easy-Switch buttons and transfer files between devices via the Logi Options+ feature.
For connectivity, the MX Master 4 uses a high-performance chip and optimized antenna, delivering up to two times stronger wireless connectivity than previous models. A USB-C dongle enables reliable pairing, and Logi Bolt support ensures stable performance in crowded office environments. The MX Master 4 is powered by a rechargeable 650 mAh battery, offering up to 70 days of battery life on a full charge. A one-minute charge via USB-C provides up to three hours of use.
Logitech has also incorporated sustainable design elements into the MX Master 4. The mouse is built with a minimum of 48% certified post-consumer recycled plastic, a low-carbon aluminum thumb wheel, a battery with 100% recycled cobalt, and FSC™-certified paper packaging with unpainted plastic parts designed for easier disassembly.
Tolya Polyanker, General Manager of the MX Business at Logitech, stated that the MX Master 4 is designed to help advanced users reimagine their workflows and deliver more in less time, thanks to the tactile haptic feedback and instant access to their favorite tools with the Actions Ring software overlay.
