Kelly Osbourne's son honors Ozzy Osbourne by walking out as Aston Villa mascot, a touching tribute.

In a touching tribute to the late rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, his grandson Sidney, son of Kelly Osbourne and Slipknot's Sid Wilson, served as a mascot for Aston Villa during their Premier League match against Manchester United on Sunday, December 21, 2025. The match was held at Villa Park, a place of great significance to the Osbourne family, as it hosted Ozzy's final performance in July 2025, shortly before his death.

Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away in July at the age of 76, was a lifelong Aston Villa fan. The club honored him with a special tribute in August, following his death.

Kelly Osbourne shared the news of her son's mascot appearance, revealing that she planned to contact "Angry Ginge," a Manchester United fan and a former campmate of her brother Jack on "I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!". She humorously mentioned her plans to "ruin" Christmas this year, a nod to her father's past antics.

Young Sidney was photographed on the pitch, held by Villa captain John McGinn. Kelly and Sidney were seen sporting Aston Villa gear, with Sidney wearing a custom jersey. Kelly shared a video on her Instagram Stories of Sidney with his dad and some of Villa's star players.

Aston Villa has embraced its connection to Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath in recent years. The club launched an Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath-themed shirt in October 2024 and featured Ozzy and Geezer Butler in a home kit advertisement last year. In January 2025, the club also honored Ozzy with a large display before their Champions League match against Celtic.

Ozzy's final show, "Back to the Beginning," took place at Villa Park and included original members of Black Sabbath. Ozzy had expressed the importance of the venue, stating, "It's my final encore; it's my chance to say thank you to my fans for always supporting me and being there for me. I couldn't have done my final show anywhere else. I had to go back to the beginning".

The club released a statement following Ozzy's death, saying, "Aston Villa Football Club is saddened to learn that world-renowned rockstar and Villan, Ozzy Osbourne has passed away," and, "Growing up in Aston, not far from Villa Park, Ozzy always held a special connection to the club and the community he came from".

Before the game against Manchester United, Kelly was seen in the tunnel wearing Aston Villa gear, further highlighting the family's support for the team. The match proceeded with Aston Villa striving to maintain their title challenge.
