Yuzvendra Chahal Celebrates New BMW Purchase with Family
Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, currently out of favor with the national team, recently celebrated a personal milestone by purchasing a new luxury car. On December 22, 2025, Chahal shared photos on social media platform X, showcasing the new vehicle and posing with his parents.
Chahal captioned the pictures, "Brought my new car home with the two people who made every dream possible. Watching my parents witness and relish this milestone is the real luxury". The post quickly gained traction, with fans appreciating the cricketer's heartfelt tribute to his family. The identity of the BMW model was initially unclear, but reports later confirmed it to be a BMW Z4, with prices in India starting around ₹87.90 lakh and going up to ₹92.61 lakh. Other reports suggest that Chahal has actually purchased a sleek BMW, but didn't mention the exact model.
While the exact price of Chahal's new car remains unconfirmed, his collection has previously included high-end brands such as Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, Rolls-Royce and Lamborghini.
Chahal, a member of India's 2024 T20 World Cup-winning squad, has been out of the national team setup since that triumph. Selectors have been backing other options in the spin department, making a comeback seem unlikely for him. Despite this, Chahal remains a valuable player in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He was bought by Punjab Kings for ₹18 crore for IPL 2025. He has been a consistent performer, showcasing his skills as a reliable wicket-taker.
Recently, Chahal revealed that he has been sidelined from competitive cricket after being diagnosed with dengue and chikungunya and was absent from the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy final. He has also refrained from setting a timeline for his return.
