Tommy Lee Jones' Daughter's Tragic Death: 911 Call Unveils Suspected Overdose in Victoria Jones Case.

Victoria Jones, the 34-year-old daughter of actor Tommy Lee Jones, has died in San Francisco on New Year's Day. According to a 911 dispatch audio obtained by TMZ, the cause of death is suspected to be a drug overdose.

Emergency services were called to the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco at approximately 3:14 a.m. on January 1, 2026, following a report of a medical emergency. The audio from the 911 call described the incident as "code 3 for the overdose, color change". "Color change" in overdose cases can refer to cyanosis, which is low oxygen levels in the blood that causes a blue or purple discoloration of the skin, lips, and nails. Upon arrival, paramedics were already on the scene and declared Victoria Jones dead. The San Francisco Police Department has stated that foul play is not suspected.

A hotel guest found Jones on the 14th floor of the hotel, believing she had passed out from drinking and alerted the staff. Hotel staff then performed CPR and called for an ambulance. It remains undetermined whether Jones was a guest at the hotel and why she was on the 14th floor.

The San Francisco Medical Examiner's Office has publicly identified Jones as the deceased and is currently investigating the official cause and manner of death.

Victoria Jones had reportedly faced struggles with drug issues and had been arrested on drug-related charges earlier in the year. In April, she was arrested in California for allegedly obstructing a peace officer, being under the influence of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, and possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, to which she pleaded not guilty. In June, she was also charged with misdemeanor domestic battery and again pleaded not guilty.

Victoria Jones appeared in some of her father’s movies, including "Men in Black II" in 2002 and "The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada" in 2005. She also appeared in an episode of "One Tree Hill" in 2003.

Tommy Lee Jones shared Victoria with his ex-wife Kimberlea Cloughley. They also have a son, Austin. The Fairmont San Francisco is cooperating with the police investigation.
