Parvinn Dabass joins Anupam Kher and Boman Irani in 'Khosla Ka Ghosla 2,' reliving the original magic.

Parvinn Dabas is back alongside Anupam Kher and Boman Irani for "Khosla Ka Ghosla 2," the highly anticipated sequel to the beloved 2006 comedy. The original film, directed by Dibakar Banerjee, achieved cult status for its relatable story of a middle-class family battling a property grabber.

The sequel sees the return of much of the original cast, including Anupam Kher as Kamal Kishore Khosla and Boman Irani as the antagonist Kishan Khurana. Ranvir Shorey and Tara Sharma are also reprising their roles. While Dibakar Banerjee and Jaideep Sahni will not be returning as director and writer respectively, Umesh Bisht, known for "Gyaarah Gyaarah" and "Pagglait," will be taking over the directorial duties.

Anupam Kher shared his excitement on social media, posting behind-the-scenes stills from the set. He noted the immense anticipation surrounding the sequel, more than any other film he has worked on in his four-decade-long career. He expressed his curiosity about what resonates with the magic of the film, inviting fans to share their thoughts.

Parvin Dabas, who played Chiraunji Lal "Cherry" Khosla in the first film, expressed how special "Khosla Ka Ghosla" is to him.

Boman Irani also shared a nostalgic photo from the sets with Anupam Kher and Ranvir Shorey. The reunion has sparked excitement among fans who are eager to see the return of the iconic trio. Irani's portrayal of Kishan Khurana, with his sharp humor and cleverness, remains a memorable aspect of the original film.

"Khosla Ka Ghosla 2" is produced by Savita Raj Hiremath, who also produced the first film, this time under the Taandav Films label. The script is written by Umesh Bist and his team. The film is aiming for a 2026 release. Ravi Kishan and Divya Khosla Kumar have also joined the cast.

The original "Khosla Ka Ghosla" won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi. The film cleverly tackled societal issues such as property scams and generation gaps, resonating with a wide audience. The sequel is expected to retain the heart, humor, and relatability that defined the first film.
