Harry Styles has officially announced the release of his new single, "Aperture," set to drop on January 23rd, marking the beginning of a new musical era for the artist. The song serves as the lead single from his highly anticipated fourth studio album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally, which is scheduled to be released on March 6th.
Styles revealed the news on January 20th via his social media channels, accompanied by a photo of himself in a recording studio, arms outstretched and smiling. The post included the caption "Aperture. Jan 23, 00:00 UK". The announcement quickly generated excitement among fans, who have eagerly awaited new material since his last album, Harry's House, in 2022.
The album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally, will feature 12 tracks and is executive produced by Kid Harpoon, a longtime collaborator of Styles. Pre-orders for the album are already available, including limited-edition vinyl and a deluxe box set featuring a branded reloadable 35mm film camera and camera bag, emphasizing a vintage aesthetic.
In the weeks leading up to the announcement, Styles teased his comeback with cryptic messages across the globe. Posters with phrases like "we belong together" and "see you very soon" appeared in various cities, sparking speculation among fans. A mysterious website, WeBelongTogether.co, was also launched, further fueling anticipation. The website was later updated with an image of Styles and others painting in a park. Furthermore, fans who subscribed to Styles' HSHQ WhatsApp channel received a camera emoji after typing the line "let the light in", which turned out to be a lyric from "Aperture".
The title "Aperture" itself has sparked curiosity. In photography, an aperture refers to the opening in a lens that controls the amount of light entering the camera. Metaphorically, it can represent clarity, exposure, and new beginnings. As the first single from the new album, "Aperture" is seen as an intentional opening statement, inviting listeners into a new phase of Styles's career.
Styles offered a preview of new music in late December 2025 by uploading a video titled "Forever, Forever" to YouTube. The video featured footage from the final show of his Love On Tour in July 2023 and concluded with the phrase "We Belong Together".
