The Redmi Note 15 Pro series is set to launch in India on January 29, 2026, promising significant upgrades in camera technology, build quality, and charging speed for the mid-range smartphone segment.

Xiaomi has confirmed the Redmi Note 15 Pro series will be available via the Xiaomi India online store. The phones may come in brown with a golden frame, as well as grey color options.

Expected Price

While Xiaomi hasn't officially announced the pricing, expectations are that the Redmi Note 15 Pro series will be priced around Rs 30,000 in India, based on the pricing of previous Redmi Note Pro models. Some sources estimate the Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G could start from ₹19,990.

Specifications

The Redmi Note 15 Pro series is expected to boast a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a peak brightness of up to 3,200 nits. The display will have a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1280x2772 pixel resolution. For memory, the series will support up to 24GB of RAM, including virtual memory expansion.

Under the hood, the standard Redmi Note 15 Pro is rumored to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset. The Redmi Note 15 Pro series is confirmed to carry a 200-megapixel "MasterPixel" camera on the back with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an “HDR + AI” image engine. It is expected to be paired with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. The front camera for the Redmi Note 15 Pro is expected to be 20-megapixel. The handsets in the series will be capable of recording video at up to 4K.

Powering the devices, the Redmi Note 15 Pro may have a 6,580mAh battery with 45W charging, while the Pro+ variant may have a 6,500mAh battery supporting 100W charging. Both phones could offer 22.5W reverse charging support. To manage thermals during demanding tasks, Xiaomi is incorporating its IceLoop cooling system.

Software and Features

The Redmi Note 15 Pro series will run on Android 15-based HyperOS 2 out of the box. Software features will include AI Writing, AI Speech Recognition, and AI Interpreter, as Xiaomi continues to integrate AI-based features. The devices are also expected to have dual speakers for an immersive audio experience. The phones are designed to be durable, with water and drop resistance.

Pre-orders for the Redmi Note 15 Pro series began on January 15, 2026 and lasted until January 21, 2026. Those who pre-ordered via the official Xiaomi website, Xiaomi Store or Xiaomi Authorised Dealers are eligible to receive selected free gifts.
