Sherri Shepherd's Talk Show, Sherri, Concludes This Fall After Four Seasons on Daytime Television.

After four seasons, the daytime talk show Sherri, hosted by comedian and actress Sherri Shepherd, is set to air its final episodes this fall. The show's producer and distributor, Debmar-Mercury, a division of Lionsgate, confirmed the cancellation.

Sherri premiered on September 12, 2022, as a replacement for The Wendy Williams Show, with Shepherd having served as an interim host during Williams' absence. Much of the production team from The Wendy Williams Show transitioned to Sherri, and the existing studio was reconfigured with a new set design. The show quickly became a staple in daytime television, offering Shepherd's perspective on pop culture and trending topics. In January 2023, the show was renewed for two more seasons, ensuring its run through 2025, and on March 20, 2025, it was renewed for a fourth season.

The decision to end Sherri comes amidst a shifting landscape in daytime television. In a joint statement, Debmar-Mercury co-presidents Ira Bernstein and Mort Marcus acknowledged the changing dynamics of the industry. "This decision is driven by the evolving daytime television landscape and does not reflect on the strength of the show, its production – which has found strong creative momentum this season – or the incredibly talented Sherri Shepherd," they stated. Despite the cancellation, Debmar-Mercury expressed their belief in the show and in Shepherd, indicating their intention to explore alternative platforms for the program.

The announcement of Sherri's cancellation follows the news that The Kelly Clarkson Show will also be ending its run this fall. With the exits of Sherri and The Kelly Clarkson Show, The Drew Barrymore Show and The Jennifer Hudson Show remain as the two remaining daytime talk shows in syndication.

Shepherd is currently on her "Make it Make Sense" comedy tour, which includes dates at comedy clubs from Milwaukee to Atlanta spanning from February through mid-May.

Sherri has been taping in New York City at Chelsea Studios. The show is broadcast on station groups including Fox TV Stations, Nexstar, Hearst, Sinclair, Gray, Tegna, and Sunbeam.
