India has launched Pilloo AI, a voice-driven billing platform designed to empower small and medium-sized business owners (MSMEs) by simplifying their financial management. Formally launched on February 2, 2026, by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in Andhra Pradesh, Pilloo AI represents a significant stride in making AI-driven financial tools accessible to entrepreneurs across the country.
Pilloo AI functions as an AI-powered voice-based accounting agent. It enables users to manage core accounting tasks through spoken commands in their native languages. This eliminates the need for accounting expertise or complex software navigation. Business owners can create invoices, record transactions, generate financial reports, and manage accounts simply by speaking.
The platform supports multiple Indian languages, making it accessible to a wide range of users. It allows users to record daily transactions, generate financial reports, and automate data entry by uploading bills and bank statements. AI-based data extraction processes purchase and bank entries instantly, which significantly reduces manual effort and errors. Furthermore, Pilloo AI helps businesses maintain accurate records for audits and comply with tax and legal regulations.
Pilloo AI's key features include voice-to-invoice capabilities in native languages, instant e-invoice and e-way bill generation, and the ability to send invoices via WhatsApp or email. It also offers features for automating purchase and bank statement entries, posting sales returns, and detecting incorrect transaction amounts. User access control ensures that only authorized personnel can view sensitive data.
The launch of Pilloo AI aligns with the Digital India program, which aims to empower citizens through technology.
