After nearly two decades of marriage, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have reportedly separated. The couple, who wed in June 2006, share two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.

Sources indicate that the couple has been living apart since the beginning of the summer. According to TMZ, multiple sources confirmed that Kidman and Urban have been living separately for several months. It is believed that Urban has moved out of their family home in Nashville and acquired his own residence in the same city.

A source told People that Kidman "didn't want this" and has been "fighting to save the marriage". People also reports that Kidman's sister, Antonia, and the entire Kidman family have been supporting her during this difficult time. Another source told Page Six that Kidman "did not want the separation and was trying to save things".

While the news may come as a shock to many, one source told People that the separation "really hasn't been a secret" and that "people close to Keith felt like the split was kind of inevitable".

Kidman and Urban were last photographed together in June at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 match in Nashville. Kidman also shared a photo on Instagram in June to commemorate their wedding anniversary.

It remains unclear whether the couple will file for divorce. A source told Realtor.com, "There was a lot of love between the two and they might not divorce, but there is a world that they both live where neither of them are in it...Keith and Nicole have been together for decades and there is a world which they can reconcile, but the way their pairing is now, it is not a couple".

Representatives for Kidman and Urban have not yet responded to requests for comment.
