The latest "Weekend Ka Vaar" episode of Bigg Boss 19 saw writer and filmmaker Zeishan Quadri, best known for Gangs of Wasseypur, evicted from the house. The announcement was made by host Salman Khan, ending Quadri's journey on the reality show after receiving the fewest public votes.
Quadri's eviction was filmed during the "Weekend Ka Vaar" episode. During the announcement, Salman Khan initially revealed that Mridul Tiwari and Pranit More were safe. The remaining contestants, Ashnoor Kaur, Baseer Ali, Zeishan, and Neelam Giri, stood on pedestals with green and red lights. Baseer, Ashnoor and Neelam stepped down as their lights turned green, confirming they were safe. Ultimately, Zeishan’s pedestal turned red, sealing his fate.
His departure left several housemates emotional. Neelam Giri and Tanya Mittal were captured breaking down after the eviction. Shehbaz Badesha was also visibly moved and was seen wiping away tears as Quadri exited. Amaal Mallik vowed to play harder after Zeishan’s elimination.
During his time in the Bigg Boss house, Quadri maintained a relatively low profile and avoided major controversies. He formed close bonds with fellow contestants Amaal Mallik, Baseer Ali, and Shehbaz Badesha, often sharing light-hearted moments with them. He also shared a close rapport with Neelam Giri and Tanya Mittal.
In addition to the eviction, this week’s "Weekend Ka Vaar" episode included other entertaining segments. Guests Jamie Lever and Ravi Gupta joined the show, interacting with the contestants and adding to the entertainment. Salman Khan also appeared to make indirect remarks about filmmaker Abhinav Kashyap during a segment with Ravi Gupta. Without directly naming Kashyap, Salman alluded to previous comments he made on "Weekend Ka Vaar" and questioned whether Kashyap had found work, referencing past issues and a film offer that Kashyap had declined.
Before entering the Bigg Boss house, Zeishan was reportedly earning between ₹2 to 5 lakhs per week. His total earnings for his seven-week stay are estimated to be between ₹15 to 35 lakhs.
Bigg Boss 19 airs on Colors TV and JioCinema. Salman Khan is hosting the show for the fourteenth time.
