Delhi Car Blast Investigation: Surgeon's Role, Diaries, and a Potential 'D-6 Mission' for Babri Masjid Retribution.

The investigation into the Delhi car blast on November 10, 2025, which killed 13 and injured several others, has taken a significant turn with the emergence of Dr. Shaheen Shahid, a 43-year-old doctor, as a key figure. Known as "Madam Surgeon" within the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) module, Dr. Shahid's involvement points to a meticulously planned operation with roots stretching back several years.

Investigators have uncovered handwritten diaries, digital evidence, and planning notes that outline a sinister plot dubbed the "D-6 Mission," intended to avenge the demolition of the Babri Masjid on December 6. The documents detail target lists, recruitment strategies, fund movements, and secure communication protocols, revealing the depth of the module's planning. The "D-6 Mission" aimed to strike multiple locations across Delhi and the NCR region on December 6.

The probe has identified other key individuals, including Kashmiri doctors Muzammil Ahmad Ganaie and Umar Un Nabi, alongside Dr. Shahid. Dr. Nabi was identified as the driver of the explosives-laden Hyundai i20 that detonated near the Red Fort. DNA samples taken from the blast site were matched to Dr. Nabi's mother, confirming his presence in the vehicle.

Investigations suggest that Dr. Shahid became deeply embedded within a JeM-backed structure in 2021. An alleged hawala channel of Rs 20 lakh, routed through a JeM handler, was reportedly used for operational expenses by Umar, Muzammil, and Shaheen, funding recruitment, safe houses, secure phones, and reconnaissance. Further investigation revealed that the module had raised between Rs 25 and 30 lakh to procure bomb-making materials. This included approximately 26 quintals of NPK fertilizer, worth around Rs 3 lakh, which was acquired from towns in Haryana and used to create IEDs.

The trail indicates that in March 2022, the module members traveled to Turkiye to meet with ISI handler Abu Ukasha, where they allegedly received the "green signal" for the December 6 plan. Investigators are scrutinizing the Turkiye visit.

Dr. Shahid's transformation reportedly began around 2010 after contact with an Indian-origin doctor abroad who shared ideological videos and literature. While she was formally dismissed from her job in 2021, her involvement with the terror group appears to have deepened over time.

Authorities have seized a red EcoSport car owned by Dr. Umar and a Maruti Brezza bought by Dr. Shahid in September from Al Falah University, where she was a faculty member. The recovery of these vehicles is providing crucial clues to the planning and execution of the attacks.

The investigation is ongoing, with authorities working to uncover the full extent of the JeM project and bring all those involved to justice. The focus remains on understanding the roles and motivations of each member of the module, as well as preventing any potential future attacks.
