Mumbai Police Summon Siddhant Kapoor, Orry in Massive Rs 252 Crore Drugs Investigation: Shocking Celebrity Connection.

Mumbai Police have issued summons to Siddhant Kapoor, brother of actress Shraddha Kapoor, and social media influencer Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, in connection with a ₹252 crore drugs case. The summons were issued by the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of the Mumbai Police.

Siddhant Kapoor has been asked to appear at the ANC's Ghatkopar unit on Tuesday, November 25, to record his statement. Orry, who previously missed a summons, has been asked to appear on Wednesday, November 26. Orry's representative had previously stated that he was out of Mumbai when the initial summons was issued.

The case dates back to March 2024, when police seized 126.14 kg of mephedrone, also known as 'MD', worth approximately ₹252 crore from a manufacturing unit on a farm in Sangli, Maharashtra.

The summons follow claims made by Mohammad Salim Mohammad Suhail Shaikh, an alleged drug trafficker who was deported from Dubai last month, who stated he arranged lavish parties for celebrities. Shaikh, also known as 'Lavish', is reportedly a close associate of fugitive drug kingpin Salim Dola, a key member of the Dawood Ibrahim gang. According to submissions made by the ANC to a Mumbai court, Shaikh alleged that several personalities attended these parties.

Besides Siddhant Kapoor and Orry, Shaikh named actors Nora Fatehi, film producers Abbas-Mustan, and rapper Loka as attendees. He also mentioned Alishah, the son of Haseena Parkar (Dawood Ibrahim's deceased sister), Baba Siddique's son Zeeshan Siddique, and others.

Investigators are currently verifying these claims and cross-checking the identities of those mentioned during the probe. The investigation is related to an alleged drug trafficking syndicate with links to the Dawood Ibrahim gang.

Siddhant Kapoor was previously apprehended in Bengaluru in 2022 on charges of drug consumption.
