Amidst the whirlwind of rumors linking Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and RJ Mahvash, an old video of the radio jockey expressing her "one-sided love" for another cricketer, Shubman Gill, has resurfaced and gone viral. This comes at a time when Chahal's divorce from Dhanashree Verma was recently finalized, further fueling the speculation surrounding his personal life.

The video, originally posted by RJ Mahvash on her Instagram in October 2023, begins with a selfie clip of her with Shubman Gill, accompanied by the text "Me after meeting Shubman Gill." Following this, she is seen rushing into a room and humorously performing a ritual – cutting a lemon – based on the belief that it can transform one-sided affection into a mutual relationship. The video, intended as a lighthearted jest, has now gained renewed attention in light of Mahvash's rumored connection with Chahal.

The timing of the video's resurgence is particularly noteworthy. It coincides with reports and images circulating of RJ Mahvash and Yuzvendra Chahal attending the Champions Trophy 2025 final in Dubai together. Mahvash also shared pictures and videos from the celebratory night, even claiming she is "good luck" for Team India, which only intensified the speculation about a budding romance between the two.

Interestingly, RJ Mahvash had previously addressed the dating rumors with Chahal after they were spotted celebrating Christmas 2024 together. At the time, she dismissed the reports as "baseless," questioning why being seen with someone of the opposite gender automatically implies a romantic relationship. She further added that she wouldn’t let PR teams use her name to cover up other people's images, emphasizing that people should be allowed to live in peace with their friends and family during tough times.

However, her recent appearance alongside Chahal at the Champions Trophy final, coupled with the viral video expressing fondness for Shubman Gill, has led many to believe that there might be more to the story. Social media users have been actively sharing and commenting on the video, with some humorously suggesting that Mahvash simply has a preference for cricketers.

Meanwhile, Yuzvendra Chahal's divorce from Dhanashree Verma was finalized on March 20, 2025, with the court accepting their joint petition. The couple, who married in December 2020, had been living separately for over two years. While the exact reasons for their separation remain private, some reports suggest that differing preferences regarding relocation – Dhanashree reportedly wanted to move to Mumbai, while Chahal preferred staying with his family in Haryana – played a role. Following the divorce, Chahal was seen wearing a T-shirt with the phrase "Be your own sugar daddy".

Adding another layer to the intrigue, influencer and actor Avneet Kaur's presence at the India vs. Australia semi-final match also sparked rumors linking her to Shubman Gill, who has previously been associated with Sara Ali Khan and Sara Tendulkar. Also, British singer Jasmin Walia was spotted at the Champions Trophy final, reigniting talks about her alleged romance with Hardik Pandya.

As for Chahal and Dhanashree, the Bandra Family Court granted their divorce on mutual grounds. Dhanashree released a song after the divorce, titled Dekha Ji Dekha Maine, which touches on themes of infidelity and domestic violence, and is reportedly set to receive ₹4.75 crore in alimony as part of the divorce settlement.

Amidst all the speculation and resurfaced videos, neither Yuzvendra Chahal nor RJ Mahvash have officially confirmed or denied their relationship. The online community continues to buzz with speculation, humorously dissecting every social media post and public appearance, while the individuals involved remain tight-lipped about their personal lives.
