The sudden demise of actress Shefali Jariwala on June 27, 2025, has left her husband, Parag Tyagi, heartbroken. The actress, known for her iconic "Kaanta Laga" music video and appearances in reality shows like "Nach Baliye" and "Bigg Boss 13," was 42 years old. Reports suggest that she died of cardiac arrest.
In a moving tribute on Instagram, Parag shared a collection of cherished photos capturing their loving moments together. Set to Mateo Oxley's "I Love You Always Forever," the images depict the couple hugging, kissing, and enjoying vacations. With these photos, Parag expressed his enduring love for Shefali, promising to find her in every lifetime. "I will find you every time you are born and I will love you in every lifetime," he wrote, adding, "I love you eternally meri gundi meri chokri (my thug, my girl)".
This recent post echoes an earlier heartfelt note Parag shared shortly after Shefali's passing. In that message, he described her as his "Pari" (fairy) and lauded her multifaceted personality. "Shefali, Meri Pari — the ever-eternal Kaanta Laga — was so much more than what met the eye. She was fire wrapped in grace — sharp, focused, and fiercely driven," he wrote. He also highlighted her selflessness and caring nature, stating, "She was sab ki maa — always putting others first, offering comfort and warmth simply through her presence".
Parag and Shefali's love story began after Shefali's divorce from musician Harmeet Singh in 2009. They met at a mutual friend's dinner party and dated for four years before marrying in August 2014. Their bond was evident in their participation in "Nach Baliye," where their chemistry resonated with fans. Parag even entered "Bigg Boss 13" to support Shefali during her time on the show.
In an earlier interview, Parag expressed how much he missed Shefali when she was away on "Bigg Boss," revealing that he couldn't sleep and longed to share his thoughts and experiences with her.
