The day ARMY has been waiting for is finally here! BTS members RM and V are officially being discharged from their mandatory South Korean military service on June 10, 2025. As the gates open, marking the end of their service which began in 2023, the world eagerly anticipates their return to the stage.

The return of RM and V marks a significant step towards the highly anticipated full-group reunion of BTS. Jin and J-Hope were discharged in June and October 2024, respectively, already paving their own solo paths while awaiting their bandmates. Jimin and Jungkook are scheduled to be discharged on June 11, followed by Suga on June 21. With all seven members expected to be back by the end of June 2025, the excitement for a complete BTS comeback is reaching fever pitch.

BIGHIT MUSIC, the agency representing BTS, has requested fans to refrain from visiting the discharge locations. They emphasized that the discharge day is reserved for military personnel and that there will be no special events held for the occasion. The agency cited safety concerns due to limited space and potential overcrowding, prioritizing the well-being of both the artists and their fans. Instead, BIGHIT MUSIC encouraged fans to convey their support and encouragement in their hearts, expressing gratitude for the unwavering love shown towards RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.

ARMY, known for their passionate support, has been celebrating the impending return of RM and V through various online initiatives. Hashtags such as #WelcomeBackV, #WelcomeBackRM, and #BTSIsBack have been trending across social media platforms. Fans have flooded timelines with heartfelt messages, fan art, throwback videos, and countdown posts, creating a virtual welcome party for the returning members.

Adding to the celebratory atmosphere, fans have also organized meaningful projects to commemorate V's discharge. Fan donations have been made to support various causes, including Pride Month campaigns, programs for underprivileged children, and animal shelters. These acts of kindness reflect the values that BTS promotes and demonstrate the positive impact they have on their global fanbase.

While the exact details of BTS's future activities remain under wraps, HYBE Corporation has indicated that the members will need time for preparation and production before resuming group activities. CEO Lee Jae Sang mentioned that discussions with top-tier composers are underway, but the artists themselves require time for deliberation and planning. Despite the wait, the prospect of a BTS comeback has sent waves of excitement throughout the K-pop industry and beyond.

The return of RM and V signifies not only the end of their military service but also the beginning of a new chapter for BTS. As they step back into civilian life, fans around the world eagerly await their next move, ready to support them every step of the way. The gates are open, and the world is watching as BTS prepares to once again take the stage by storm.
