The wrap-up party for Harshvardhan Rane's upcoming film, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, took an unexpected turn when a cluster of helium balloons caught fire on set. The incident occurred during the celebrations in Chandigarh, where the team had been shooting the film, directed by Milap Zaveri.

Rane shared a behind-the-scenes video of the event on his Instagram, which quickly gained attention. The footage shows the cast and crew, including actress Sonam Bajwa and actor Shaad Randhawa, gathered to celebrate the end of the film's major shooting schedule. As they were cutting a cake and enjoying the festivities, a large bunch of helium balloons, positioned just 8-9 feet behind them, suddenly burst into flames.

Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident. Rane expressed his gratitude for the safety of the crew, attributing it to divine intervention. In his Instagram post, he wrote, "You know God is on your film's side when a mishap doesn't touch you. Thankfully, everyone was safe today early morning when the whole crew shot five night shifts in a row and was celebrating the wrap of Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat when a huge bunch of helium balloons burst 8-9 feet behind us! Accidents and hiccups chose to keep their distance from us as the guardian angels chose us and this film. #FreakAccident but #SonOfGod."

The video captures the momentary panic and surprise as the balloons ignited, but also the immediate sense of relief and camaraderie among the cast and crew. Fans were quick to react to the video, expressing their relief that everyone was safe. One follower commented, "Divine protection and passion go hand in hand when hearts like yours are involved. So glad everyone is safe." Another wrote, "That calmness, smile, and the way you console and ensure everyone that ALL IS WELL is something that is MOST lovable."

Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, produced by Amul V. Mohan and Anshul Mohan under Vikir Motion Pictures, is a romantic drama slated for release on October 2, 2025. The film promises to explore the intensity and complexities of love, with a soul-stirring soundtrack and emotional storytelling at its core. The incident during the wrap-up has inadvertently heightened curiosity about the project, adding to the buzz surrounding the film.
