The 12th anniversary of Aanand L. Rai's "Raanjhanaa" was celebrated with a special fan screening in Mumbai on June 18, 2025, at PVR Lido Cinema. The event brought together key members of the original cast and crew, offering fans a chance to relive the magic of the film on the big screen.

Dhanush, who made his Bollywood debut with "Raanjhanaa," was present at the screening, looking dapper in a black suit. Joining him was Kriti Sanon, his co-star from the upcoming film "Tere Ishk Mein," also directed by Aanand L. Rai. Sanon looked stunning in a brown cut-out dress. Director Aanand L. Rai, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, writer Himanshu Sharma, and lyricist Irshad Kamil also graced the event. Popular YouTuber Laksh Maheshwari hosted the screening.

Notably, Sonam Kapoor, the female lead in "Raanjhanaa," was reported to attend the screening initially. However, updates from the event confirm that she was not present. Despite her absence, the event was a vibrant celebration of the film's lasting impact.

"Raanjhanaa," released in 2013, has remained a topic of discussion and appreciation for its complex characters, timeless music by A.R. Rahman, and poignant storytelling. The film explores themes of love, obsession, and societal constraints, resonating with audiences for over a decade. The fan screening provided an opportunity for viewers to reconnect with Kundan and Zoya's journey.

The screening also served as a platform to highlight Aanand L. Rai's upcoming venture, "Tere Ishk Mein," which stars Dhanush and Kriti Sanon. The film is set to release on November 28, 2025, and is thematically rooted in the "Raanjhanaa" universe. The teaser of "Tere Ishk Mein" has already generated excitement.

"Tere Ishk Mein" is produced by Aanand L. Rai, Himanshu Sharma, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar. The music is composed by A.R. Rahman, with lyrics by Irshad Kamil. The film is written by Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav.
