Oppo K13x 5G Lands in India: Affordable Powerhouse with Impressive Camera and Battery Specs.

The Oppo K13x 5G has officially launched in India on June 23, 2025, positioning itself as a durable and feature-rich smartphone in the budget 5G segment. It will be available for purchase starting June 27, 2025, via Flipkart, Oppo India's online store, and offline retailers.

Pricing and Availability

The Oppo K13x 5G comes in three configurations:

  • 4GB RAM + 128GB storage: ₹11,999
  • 6GB RAM + 128GB storage: ₹12,999
  • 8GB RAM + 128GB storage: ₹14,999

It is offered in two color options: Midnight Violet and Sunset Peach.

Launch offers include an instant discount of ₹1,000 on the 4GB and 6GB variants and ₹2,000 on the 8GB variant using select bank offers. Alternatively, customers can opt for an exchange bonus of ₹1,000 along with a 3-month no-cost EMI option.

Durability and Design

The Oppo K13x 5G is marketed as the "toughest 5G smartphone in its segment," boasting military-grade durability with SGS Gold Drop Certification and MIL-STD 810H standards. Its 360° damage-proof armor body is constructed using aerospace-grade AM04 aluminum alloy, reinforced with Crystal Shield glass, and features a biomimetic Sponge Shock Absorption System inspired by deep-sea sponges. Additionally, the phone has Gorilla Glass 7i protection for the screen and an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, making it capable of handling spills and splashes.

Display and Performance

The device sports a 6.67-inch HD+ (1604 x 720 pixels) LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness in High Brightness Mode (HBM). The display also features Splash Touch technology, allowing users to operate the touchscreen even with wet hands.

Under the hood, the Oppo K13x 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, built on a 6nm process, balancing power and performance. It comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage, expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card. The phone runs on ColorOS 15.1 based on Android 15 and is promised to receive 2 OS updates and 3 years of security updates.

Camera and Battery

For photography, the Oppo K13x 5G features a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel main camera (OV50D sensor, f/1.88 aperture) and a 2-megapixel depth sensor (SC201ACS/GC02M1B sensor, f/2.4 aperture). The front-facing camera is an 8-megapixel sensor (GC08A8 sensor, f/2.05 aperture) for selfies and video calls. The rear camera can record up to 1080p videos at 60fps, while the front camera supports up to 1080p at 30fps.

The phone is equipped with a 6,000mAh battery and supports 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging, which can charge the phone up to 30% in just 21 minutes and 50% in 37 minutes. Oppo claims that the battery is designed for five years of dependable use, retaining 80% of its original capacity.
