Aditya Roy Kapur, known for his acting prowess in films like "Aashiqui 2" and "The Night Manager," has added a new dimension to his artistic repertoire: singing. The actor recently surprised and delighted fans with a live performance at the album launch of his upcoming film, "Metro In Dino," showcasing his vocal talents and further fueling anticipation for the movie.

The event, held in Mumbai, served as the official launch for the film's music, with Aditya taking center stage to serenade the audience. Videos circulating on social media capture the enthusiastic response to his performance, with many praising his soulful voice and engaging stage presence. He sang the song "Ishq Hai Ya Tharak" in front of the live audience.

"Metro In Dino" marks Aditya Roy Kapur's official singing debut. Music composer Pritam, who has crafted the film's soundtrack, revealed that Aditya has lent his voice to multiple songs in the movie. Pritam lauded Aditya's musical abilities, drawing comparisons to Western musical stars who perform their own songs. He said that Aditya sounds amazing.

Aditya himself has expressed excitement about being part of "Metro In Dino" and contributing to its music. He admitted to being a long-time admirer of the original "Life in a... Metro" and feels honored to be part of its spiritual successor. He shared that singing the songs himself adds a new layer of depth to his performance, allowing him to connect with the character and story on a deeper level.

"Metro In Dino" is the third installment in Anurag Basu's trilogy of hyperlinked cinema, following "Life in a... Metro" and "Ludo." The film explores modern love and relationships in a fast-paced urban setting, with an ensemble cast including Sara Ali Khan, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Neena Gupta, and Anupam Kher.

The film's soundtrack promises to be a significant highlight, with nearly a dozen tracks composed by Pritam. The first song, "Zamaana Lage," sung by Arijit Singh and Shashwat Singh, was released earlier and has already garnered positive attention. Several songs have been released since then including, "Dil Ka Kya", "Mann Ye Mera", and "Aur Mohabbat Kitni Karoon." The Side A of the music album was released on June 23, 2025, with Side B coming soon.

The release of "Metro In Dino" is scheduled for July 4, 2025.
