Uorfi Javed, the social media sensation and recent winner of 'The Traitors', has made it clear that a reconciliation with fellow contestant Apoorva Mukhija is not on the cards. In a recent interview, Uorfi addressed her ongoing feud with Apoorva Mukhija, stating firmly that she would never pick up Apoorva's calls, emphasizing that "nothing to be fixed there".
The conflict between Uorfi and Apoorva, also known as 'The Rebel Kid', initially sparked during their time on 'The Traitors'. The show, hosted by Karan Johar, became a platform for intense personal clashes, with Uorfi and Apoorva's disagreements taking center stage. Accusations of backstabbing and strategic gameplay fueled the animosity between the two influencers.
Uorfi has admitted that her fight with Apoorva stemmed from issues of respect. She revealed that disrespect is a major trigger for her, stemming from years of online abuse and trolling. When Apoorva allegedly spoke to her in a disrespectful manner, it triggered a strong reaction. "I had a fight with Apoorva over respect," Uorfi stated, "It is an insecurity I have. For so many years, I have been abused and disrespected so much that it has now made me insecure". Uorfi admitted that she overreacted during the fight and could have handled the situation better.
Following the show, the conflict continued to escalate, with Apoorva releasing a YouTube video detailing her side of the story. Uorfi responded by sharing screenshots of their conversations, accusing Apoorva of exaggerating the situation and portraying her as a villain. She claimed that Apoorva's "story time" was designed to make her look bad and that the events were not as dramatic as Apoorva presented them.
Uorfi also addressed allegations that she eavesdropped on a conversation between Purav and Harsh Gujral, which led to their eviction, and accusations of backstabbing Apoorva near the finale. Despite the heated exchanges and online backlash, Uorfi maintains that she doesn't harbor hatred towards Apoorva. "I don't have anything against anyone, and I have no hatred for her," she said. However, she also asserted that their personalities are too different for them to maintain a friendship. "We are two very different people, our personalities don't match. So, we can't stay friends," Uorfi explained.
Uorfi also addressed the abusive messages she received from Apoorva's fans after their fight aired. Despite the negativity, Uorfi seems determined to move forward. She acknowledged that fights are inevitable on such shows and expressed a desire not to dwell on them. "Usually, fights are bound to happen on the show. I cannot dwell on them. I don't hate anyone, have no ill feelings towards anyone," she stated.
In reflecting on her experience on 'The Traitors,' Uorfi emphasized that her primary focus was winning the game. She claimed that she was unaware of Apoorva's alleged agenda to make her lose. "I didn't know that she said she wanted me to lose. I was really focused on winning the game. I didn't know that she was focused on making me lose," Uorfi revealed.
