Justin Bieber has officially made his highly anticipated return to the music scene with his seventh studio album, "Swag". The album, his first full-length project since 2021's "Justice," was released on July 11, 2025, via Def Jam Recordings.

The announcement of "Swag" came as a surprise to many, with billboards appearing in major cities like Los Angeles, New York City (Times Square), and Reykjavík, Iceland, teasing the album's title and tracklist. Bieber further fueled anticipation by sharing these billboards on his Instagram, leaving fans buzzing over the cryptic reveal.

"Swag" features a star-studded lineup of guest appearances, including Gunna, Sexyy Red, and Cash Cobain. The 21-track album blends elements of R&B, hip-hop, and pop, showcasing Bieber's evolving sound and musical versatility. Production was handled by Bieber himself, alongside Carter Lang, Dylan Wiggins, Daniel Chetrit, Mk.gee, Eli Teplin, Knox Fortune, Daniel Caesar, Dijon, and Eddie Benjamin.

The album's themes are reportedly inspired by Bieber's recent journey into fatherhood, his marriage to Hailey Bieber, and his personal growth. Several song titles hint at intimate themes such as mental health, self-identity, and his evolving relationship with his wife. One billboard even featured an image of Bieber shirtless, with Hailey holding their child, Jack, reinforcing the album's grounding in home and personal connection.

The tracklist for "Swag" includes the following songs: "All I Can Take," "Daisies," "Yukon," "Go Baby," "Things You Do," "Butterflies," "Way It Is" (featuring Gunna), "First Place," "Soulful" (featuring Druski), "Walking Away," "Glory Voice Memo," "Devotion" (featuring Dijon), "Dadz Love" (featuring Lil B), "Therapy Session" (featuring Druski), "Sweet Spot" (featuring Sexyy Red), "Standing on Business" (featuring Druski), "405," "Swag" (featuring Cash Cobain and Eddie Benjamin), "Zuma House," "Too Long," and "Forgiveness".

Bieber's return to music follows a hiatus during which he faced health issues, including Ramsay Hunt syndrome type 2, which caused temporary facial paralysis and led to the cancellation of his world tour in 2022 and 2023. He also became a father, ended his professional relationship with Scooter Braun, and faced fan speculation about his marriage.

Some reports suggest that Bieber's return to music was motivated by financial needs, stemming from the costs associated with canceling his tour and other pop star expenses.

In addition to his new album, Bieber has also launched his clothing and lifestyle brand, SKYLRK.
