A shocking murder in Jaipur has triggered widespread outrage and protests, with demonstrators blocking a key national highway. The incident involves the death of 22-year-old Vipin alias Vicky, who was brutally stabbed 14 times, allegedly by Anas Khan in the Jamdoli area of the city. Police suspect an old rivalry as the motive.

The crime has ignited communal tensions and led to street protests in Jaipur. Following the stabbing on Sunday night, Vipin was rushed to SMS Hospital but succumbed to his injuries. Adding to the fury, the accused, Anas Khan, allegedly posted a video on social media brandishing the knife used in the crime and claiming responsibility for the murder. Although the video was quickly deleted, it had already circulated widely, further inflaming tensions.

The brazen nature of the crime and the subsequent social media post have sent shockwaves through the city. Protesters have taken to the streets, demanding the immediate arrest of Anas Khan, compensation for Vipin's family, and a government job for one of his relatives. Demonstrators have refused to accept Vipin's body for last rites and staged a sit-in protest outside the police station. The unrest has also led to repeated attempts to block traffic on the Jaipur-Agra National Highway, disrupting transportation and commerce.

Police have registered a murder case against nine individuals and have detained four suspects for questioning. A special team has been formed to track down Anas Khan, who is currently on the run. Authorities are working to maintain law and order in the area, with police personnel deployed to prevent further escalation of violence. Rameshwar Singh, the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of law and order, stated that more than 20 people are being questioned in connection with the case.

The situation remains tense as authorities try to pacify the protestors and apprehend the accused. The victim's family members are demanding immediate justice, refusing to proceed with the postmortem until their demands are met. The brutal nature of the crime, combined with the suspect's flaunting of the act on social media, has created a volatile situation in Jaipur, requiring careful management by law enforcement and local leaders.
