Student life, with its unique blend of academic pressure, social exploration, and personal growth, has always been a captivating subject for storytelling. Over-the-top (OTT) platforms have capitalized on this, offering a diverse range of shows that resonate with students and young adults. Here are six must-watch OTT shows that capture the essence of student life, each offering a unique perspective on the challenges and triumphs of this transformative period.

'UP65'

'UP65' is relatable and comedic and can be best described as your WhatsApp group in college that got a web series treatment. It is a story of three best friends fumbling their way through adulthood in Noida, struggling with careers, heartbreaks and the meaninglessness of life, with a lot of chai and mad laughs in between. Warm, awkward, and real.

'Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan'

This popular series revolves around a group of friends in college who form a music band. It delves into their friendships, relationships, and the challenges they face as they navigate their college years. The show is known for its youthful energy, catchy music, and relatable characters.

"The Sex Lives of College Girls"

Don't let the name of the show turn you off; it is actually about four roommates who are very different to each other. You've got one that's quite preppy, like sorority kind of vibes, one that's a student athlete, one that has parents that are quite pressuring her, but she doesn't want to do that with that, and then one that's from kind of like a small town. So all four of them make a really good mix to watch because they're just so different to each other, and they're all learning from each other. It is a college one, and it's also quite a comfort show.

"Overcompensating"

This show gives that kind of same comedic vibe; this one's a bit self-exploration, self-identity growing into who you are finding out. It's also got romance in it; it's pretty funny, and I like college shows as well; I like high school shows because I kind of live through them; I see them in college; I see them living in their dorms; I see them going around campus, and I kind of live vicariously through them, so that is also why I recommend a lot of these shows.

"Elite"

A Spanish series that bursts with drama and intricate storylines. Don't let the language barrier hold you back—subtitles are available! Elite has garnered a loyal fan base, and its intense plot will keep you glued to your screen.

"Ginny and Georgia"

Topping the list is Ginny and Georgia! There's been quite a bit of hype around this series, and viewers rave about its engaging storyline and character development. If you're looking for a combination of humor, drama, and relatable moments, this is the one to watch.

These six shows offer a glimpse into the diverse and dynamic world of student life. Whether you're a current student, a recent graduate, or simply someone who enjoys a good coming-of-age story, these OTT shows are sure to entertain and resonate.
