The courtroom is set to be in session once again as Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi are back as advocates in Jolly LLB 3. The teaser for the film is scheduled to release on August 12, 2025.
The announcement was made with a humorous video featuring Saurabh Shukla reprising his role as Judge Tripathi. In the video, Judge Tripathi comically recalls his experiences with Jagdish Tyagi (Arshad Warsi), also known as Jolly 1, and Jagdish Mishra (Akshay Kumar), or Jolly 2. He reminisces about the peacefulness of his life before Jagdish Tyagi entered the scene and jokes about Jagdish Mishra being "sweet enough to give you diabetes". Judge Tripathi makes it clear he won't tolerate their courtroom antics this time around.
Jolly LLB 3, directed by Subhash Kapoor, is slated to premiere in theaters on September 19, 2025. The film will see Akshay Kumar reprising his role as Advocate Jagdishwar 'Jolly' Mishra, and he will be fighting a case against Arshad Warsi, who plays Advocate Jagdish 'Jolly' Tyagi. The first poster of the film has been unveiled, hinting at a serious yet humorous court case. A goat munching on legal documents adds to the comic tension.
Akshay Kumar has expressed his excitement about collaborating with Arshad Warsi again. While he didn't reveal specific plot details, he mentioned that Jolly LLB 3, like its predecessors, will be inspired by a real-life incident. The film is expected to blend comedy with social and legal critique, a formula that has proven successful in the previous two installments. The story reportedly follows a farmer's fight for justice, using satire to highlight significant societal issues.
The film also stars Huma Qureshi, Amrita Rao, and Annu Kapoor. Jolly LLB 3 is the third installment in the Jolly LLB series and a sequel to Jolly LLB 2.
The teaser for Jolly LLB 3 is expected to be attached to the theatrical release of War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR.
Initially, Jolly LLB 3 was expected to clash with Kantara Chapter 1 on October 2, but the release date was moved to September 19. Now, it will clash with Anurag Kashyap's directorial debut, Nishaanchi, which marks the acting debut of Aaishvary Thackeray, the grandson of Baal Thackeray. Nishaanchi also stars Monika Panwar, Vedika Pinto, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, and Kumud Mishra.
