Vivo is gearing up to launch its new T4 Pro smartphone in India soon, expanding its T-series lineup. The company has officially teased the phone's arrival, revealing key design elements and features. Here's a breakdown of what we know so far:

Launch and Availability:

While Vivo hasn't announced a specific launch date, the company has hinted that the release is imminent. A dedicated microsite for the handset is already live on Flipkart, with a "coming soon" banner, confirming its online availability. The T4 Pro will join the existing Vivo T4 5G family in India, which includes the Vivo T4 5G, T4 Lite 5G, T4R 5G, and T4x 5G models. The T4 Pro will succeed last year's Vivo T3 Pro.

Design and Features:

The official teaser showcases the Vivo T4 Pro in a golden color option, sporting a pill-shaped camera island on the rear. The device is confirmed to offer 3x periscope zoom. The phone will feature AI-powered enhancements for imaging and performance. The design of the camera island resembles the V60 and X200 FE.

Expected Specifications:

Leaks suggest the Vivo T4 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch display with a 1.5K resolution. It is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, offering improved efficiency and performance. The device is also likely to pack significant camera upgrades, including a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary lens. The phone is allegedly 7.53mm thin and has a quad-curved screen. It will apparently be available in Blaze Gold and Nitro Blue and feature a big battery despite its slim profile.

Expected Price:

The upcoming model is likely to be priced under Rs. 30,000 in India. For reference, the Vivo T3 Pro was launched in August 2024 with a price tag of Rs. 24,999 for the 8GB + 128GB option.

Vivo T3 Pro Specifications:

To give a better idea of what to expect from the T4 Pro, here's a quick look at the specifications of its predecessor, the Vivo T3 Pro:

  • Display: 6.77-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screen
  • Processor: Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset
  • Build: IP64-rated
  • Rear Camera: Dual camera unit with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary sensor
  • Front Camera: 16-megapixel
  • Battery: 5,500mAh with 80W wired fast charging

The Vivo T4 Pro is expected to bring improvements in performance, display quality and zoom capabilities.
