The cinematic adventure Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, developed by MachineGames in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games and published by Bethesda Softworks, is slated to launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026. This announcement arrived alongside a new gameplay trailer for the DLC "The Order of Giants" during Gamescom Opening Night Live.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle sees players stepping into the shoes of the iconic archaeologist Indiana Jones in a thrilling, globe-trotting adventure. The game promises a captivating narrative filled with exploration, immersive action, and intriguing puzzles.

The release on Nintendo's new console marks a significant moment, with the Xbox-owned title being one of the first major Switch 2 releases from Bethesda Softworks. This also marks the first Xbox game to be ported specifically to the Switch 2. The game was initially released on PS5 in April. Now, with its arrival on the Switch 2, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be accessible across Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, and PC platforms.

While a specific release date for the Switch 2 version remains unconfirmed, anticipation is building for its launch next year.

Adding to the excitement, the DLC "The Order of Giants" is set to debut on September 4th. Players who have purchased the Premium Edition, Premium Upgrade, Collector's Edition, or Collector's Bundle of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on currently available platforms will gain access to the new content upon its release. The DLC will also be available for separate purchase, requiring the base game to play.

In "The Order of Giants," Indiana Jones will embark on a new adventure, uncovering mysteries within the Roman Empire. The journey takes players to stunning locations throughout the city, from foreboding crypts to the ancient River Tiber, accompanied by a brand-new soundtrack. Indy will confront sinister plots from Emperor Nero, face the Cult of Mithras, and navigate treacherous passageways.
