In a peculiar incident in Madhya Pradesh, a man named Kamlesh Kushwaha from Bhind district has filed a complaint with the CM Helpline after receiving only one laddoo instead of the announced two during Independence Day celebrations on August 15. The incident took place in Naudha village, where, like many other places in Madhya Pradesh, Independence Day was celebrated with flag hoisting and distribution of sweets.
According to officials, Kamlesh Kushwaha lodged the complaint against the sarpanch and secretary, expressing his grievance over not receiving the customary two laddoos during the event. The government had announced that two laddoos would be given to people after the flag hoisting ceremony, but he received only one.
Following the complaint, authorities purchased one kilogram of laddoos for further distribution. However, Kushwaha refused to accept them. Panchayat secretary Ravindra Shrivastava commented on the situation, stating that Kushwaha is in the habit of filing complaints and has filed 107 complaints with the CM Helpline on various issues. Shrivastava's response added a touch of humor to the situation.
The case has gained attention, highlighting how closely people observe government promises, even during festive events. While some may consider it a minor issue, Kamlesh viewed it as a matter of fairness and proper distribution. This incident adds an unusual twist to the Independence Day celebrations in Madhya Pradesh, which otherwise involved scenes of joy, patriotism, and sweet distribution.
