Tamannaah Bhatia, known for her roles in both Bollywood and South Indian cinema, has addressed rumors linking her to cricketer Virat Kohli and Pakistani player Abdul Razzaq. In a recent interview with The Lallantop, the actress clarified the nature of her connection with Kohli and responded to the bizarre claims of a secret marriage to Razzaq.

Regarding Virat Kohli, Tamannaah stated that she met him only once for a day. The rumors initially sparked after a photo from a commercial shoot featuring both of them circulated online in the early 2010s. Tamannaah clarified that their interaction was purely professional and limited to that single project. "I feel so bad because I literally met him for only one day," she said. "Na maine unse baat ki, na unse mili hun (I haven't spoken to him, nor have I met him)".

The actress also addressed the rumors of her marriage to Pakistani cricketer Abdul Razzaq. These speculations arose after a photograph of them at a jewelry store was widely shared. Tamannaah laughed off the claims, stating, "Mazaak mazaak mein Abdul Razzaq! The Internet is a fun place". She further joked, "Yaa, according to the Internet, I was briefly married to Abdul Razzaq,". Addressing Razzaq directly, she said, "I'm sorry sir, Aapke do-teen bachhe hain, I don't know what your life is!". She clarified that their meeting was simply due to attending the same store opening.

Tamannaah admitted that dealing with such rumors can be embarrassing. "It was so embarrassing," she said. "It's very awkward when there's no connection at all, and people still create one," she added. She explained that it takes time to accept that one cannot control what people think. Despite finding the rumors frustrating initially, she has learned to ignore them over time. She stated, "You can't control everything people say. After a point, you stop reacting". However, she also admitted to googling herself occasionally to understand how the public perceives her.

Tamannaah was previously in a relationship with actor Vijay Varma, which reportedly began on the sets of Netflix's Lust Stories 2. They confirmed their relationship in 2023 but have since parted ways. While the reasons for their split remain undisclosed, they continue to maintain a cordial friendship. Currently, Tamannaah is single and focused on her upcoming projects.
