On September 21, 2025, Director Atlee celebrated his 39th birthday, and the occasion was marked by warm wishes from several actors and his wife, Priya, on social media.
Allu Arjun, who is collaborating with Atlee on an upcoming film, shared a throwback photo on his Instagram Stories with the director, with the caption: “Happy Birthday to my dearest director @atlee47 garu. May you be blessed with abundance. Wishing you happiness, love, and success always. Can't wait for the world to witness the cinematic magic you're crafting”. The "cinematic magic" refers to their highly anticipated pan-India project, currently known as AA22xA6. The film is a big-budget sci-fi action drama produced by Sun Pictures and was officially announced on Allu Arjun's 43rd birthday in April 2025. The film is expected to be released in 2027. Reports suggest Allu Arjun will be seen in a triple role.
Rashmika Mandanna also extended her birthday wishes to Atlee via social media, writing, "Happiest Birthday sir garu. Have a good good one". Kalyani Priyadarshan added to the wishes, sharing, "Always my safe space, always my fam. Happiest birthday anna".
Atlee's wife, Priya, also shared a heartfelt message on social media, expressing her love and admiration for him. "Happy birthday to my heart, my peace, my strength and my everything @atlee47. I still can't believe how lucky I am to call you mine. You've given me a life full of love, laughter, and our precious little boy. Watching you be the amazing father and husband you are fills my heart in ways I can't even explain," she wrote. In a separate post, she shared a video with their son.
Actress Keerthy Suresh posted a photo on X (formerly Twitter) from her wedding celebrations featuring Atlee and actor Kathir and wrote, "Wishing my nanbargal @Atlee am_kathir. A very Happy Birthdayyy!!! This is my favvvv pic of the three of us!!".
Atlee began his career as an assistant director to S. Shankar before making his independent directorial debut in 2013 with "Raja Rani". He is known for his collaborations with actor Vijay, including "Theri", "Mersal", and "Bigil". In 2023, Atlee made his Bollywood debut with "Jawan," starring Shah Rukh Khan.
