The upcoming horror-comedy Thama, produced by Maddock Films, has generated significant buzz with the release of its first-look posters, revealing the characters played by Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Paresh Rawal. The film, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, is slated for a Diwali release and promises a blend of horror, comedy, and romance, adding to Maddock's expanding universe of supernatural films.

Ayushmann Khurrana embodies Alok, portrayed as "Insaaniyat ki aakhri Umeed" (humanity's last hope). His character is seen in a dark and intense avatar, hinting at a crucial role in the fight against the forces of darkness. Some reports suggest Khurrana will play a vampire and a historical researcher in the film.

Rashmika Mandanna plays Tadaka, described as "Roshni ki ek hi paheli kiran" (the first ray of light). Her look is impressive, dressed in green with scattered hair and an intense expression, suggesting a mysterious and possibly dangerous persona.
