Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta was reportedly attacked on Wednesday morning during a "Jan Sunwai" (public hearing) held at her official residence in Civil Lines. The incident occurred while the Chief Minister was interacting with citizens during the weekly public meeting.

Sources indicate that a man approached CM Gupta during the 'Jansunwai' and attacked her. According to reports, a stone was thrown at her. Other reports suggest that the Chief Minister was "hit by someone". It is also stated that the attacker attempted to hit the CM. The attacker, who was said to be in his 30s, disguised himself as a complainant at the public meeting.

Security personnel immediately apprehended the attacker, and he is currently being questioned.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has strongly condemned the incident. Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva has voiced his condemnation of the attack. The Delhi BJP unit described the incident as a "mishap".
