The cast and crew of the popular television show Anupamaa recently celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi on their set with great devotion and joy. Actress Rupali Ganguly, along with producer Rajan Shahi, led the festivities.
The celebration included the arrival of Ganpati Bappa on the Anupamaa set, a special aarti, and behind-the-scenes glimpses of the festivities. Rupali Ganguly shared her thoughts on the occasion, expressing gratitude to Ganpati Bappa for visiting their set every year. She acknowledged that this was the sixth year of celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi on the Anupamaa sets. She also thanked Rajan Shahi for providing them with work and for creating a show that touches hearts. Ganguly feels blessed to be a part of a show that receives so much love and blessings.
Rajan Shahi also expressed his gratitude and extended Ganesh Chaturthi wishes to everyone. He conveyed his hope that Ganpati Bappa's blessings would continue to be upon them. Shahi also expressed his desire for the show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai to continue for many years and for both shows to be blessed. He emphasized the importance of kindness, stating, "Please let kindness be your only religion. And be kind, be kind, be kind".
Rupali Ganguly also shared her plans for visiting Rajbaghcha Raja, a tradition she has followed since she was four years old. She reminisced about going there with her father since childhood.
The Anupamaa team has been celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi for several years, with the festivities initially lasting for a day and a half before Rajan Shahi extended it to ten days. The entire team participates in the morning and evening aartis with great enthusiasm.
During the celebrations, Rajan Shahi addressed the issue of animal rights, referencing a Supreme Court judgment. He highlighted that the Constitution also emphasizes animal protection. He also spoke about the show's message of love and compassion towards animals, mentioning the practice of offering the first roti to cows, dogs, and birds, reflecting Indian culture and values.
