Rajouri Accident: Junior Commissioned Officer and Four Other Army Personnel Sustain Injuries

On the morning of Tuesday, September 2, 2025, a road accident in the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir resulted in injuries to five Army personnel, including a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO).

The incident occurred around 7:10 am near Dehri Ralyote when a Light Vehicle Patrol (LVP) skidded off the road while returning to headquarters at Galuthi. The vehicle was operating in the Area of Responsibility (AOR) of 49 RR's 13 Sector. Authorities are currently examining the cause of the vehicle skid.

Following the accident, all five injured personnel were immediately evacuated to Army Hospital in Rajouri for medical attention via ambulance. Army authorities have confirmed that medical review and necessary care are being provided to the injured.
