Hrithik Roshan has publicly expressed his admiration and love for his girlfriend, Saba Azad, following the release and positive reception of her latest film, "Songs of Paradise". In a heartfelt Instagram post on Thursday, Roshan lauded Azad's performance and acknowledged her artistic journey.

Roshan shared stills of Azad from "Songs of Paradise," calling her an "incredible artist" who deserves all the praise coming her way. He revealed that he had watched the film in its early stages and was deeply moved by it, particularly by Azad's character, Zeba, the pioneering female radio singer from Kashmir. He added that the film's widespread acclaim has reinforced his faith in the universe, emphasizing that people receive what they deserve.

In his message, Roshan also touched upon the struggles Azad has faced in her career. He spoke of witnessing her "struggle, the helplessness, the frustrations, the agony that so many amazing artistes suffer from - of craving the basic right to opportunity that genuine talent deserves in a business that demands 'followers' before the 'actor'". He expressed his joy in seeing her finally receive the recognition she deserves, stating that she deserves "the world and more". He ended his message by saying, "This performance goes down as my top 10 performances ever. Keep shining, baby. My heart is overflowing. I love you".

"Songs of Paradise" premiered on Prime Video on August 29 and features Azad as Zeba, a character inspired by the life and music of Padma Shri awardee Raj Begum. The film, presented by Excel Entertainment and produced by Apple Tree Pictures Production and Renzu Films Production, also stars Soni Razdan, Zain Khan Durrani, Sheeba Chaddha, Taaruk Raina, Shishir Sharma, and Lillete Dubey. Danish Renzu directed the film.

Azad told IANS that the music of "Songs of Paradise" broadened her horizons as a musician. She explained that it was an opportunity to be in the midst of great music and that she appreciates all kinds of music, which she considers a universal language.
