Tiger Shroff turned Mumbai's iconic Gaiety Galaxy cinema into a party zone with a surprise appearance on Sunday, September 7, 2025, to celebrate the success of his latest action film, Baaghi 4. The film, which was released on September 5, 2025, alongside Vivek Agnihotri's The Bengal Files, has been pulling in impressive numbers at the box office despite facing stiff competition.
The 35-year-old actor's visit to the theatre was met with thunderous cheers from fans. He held up a "houseful" board, marking the film's strong start. In a gesture that sent fans into a frenzy, Tiger removed his green ribbed sleeveless T-shirt to reveal his signature six-pack abs. The actor then tossed the T-shirt into the excited crowd.
Baaghi 4 has earned ₹13.20 crores on its opening day and ₹11.34 crores on day two, bringing the domestic total to ₹24.54 crores. The worldwide collection now stands at ₹31.86 crores. According to early estimates, the film collected ₹9.49 crore on Day 3, taking the three-day total to ₹30.74 crore across India.
The film, directed by A. Harsha, stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonam Bajwa and Harnaaz Sandhu along with Shreyas Talpade, Saurabh Sachdeva, Upendra Limaye, and Sheeba Akashdeep Sabir. Baaghi 4 is marketed as the most violent film of the franchise, showcasing Tiger in a high-octane clash with Sanjay Dutt. The CBFC cleared the film with an A certificate after 23 cuts, muting or altering certain violent scenes and dialogues.
The film is the fourth installment in the Baaghi film series and is an unofficial remake of the 2013 Tamil film Ainthu Ainthu Ainthu. It blends action, drama, and a turbulent love story, further cementing Tiger Shroff's position as a leading action hero in Bollywood.
However, the film's marketing strategy has faced criticism, with filmmaker Sanjay Gupta taking a dig at the "Buy 1 Get 1 Free" offer on opening day tickets. Despite the mixed reviews, Baaghi 4 has resonated with audiences, particularly in urban centers and mass belts, with multiplexes reporting decent footfall and single screens seeing packed shows.
