Actors Varun Tej Konidela and Lavanya Tripathi have welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on September 10, 2025. The couple, who tied the knot in a traditional Telugu ceremony in Tuscany, Italy, in November 2023, announced their pregnancy in May 2025 with a touching Instagram post featuring a picture of themselves holding hands and a pair of baby booties.
Varun Tej shared a heartwarming monochrome picture on Instagram from the hospital, showing Lavanya holding the baby while he lovingly looks at them. He captioned the picture, “Our little man (blue heart emojis) 10.09.2025". The post was immediately flooded with congratulatory messages from fans and celebrities alike, including Ram Charan's wife Upasana Konidela and director Venky Atluri.
Varun's uncle, Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi, also shared the joyous news on his Instagram account. He posted a picture of himself holding the newborn with a broad smile, as Varun looks on.
