The release of the trailer for the highly anticipated film OG, starring Pawan Kalyan, is generating significant buzz among fans. While the official confirmation from the production house is still awaited, industry chatter suggests that the trailer might be released on September 15, 2025. However, another report indicates the trailer will be launched on September 18.

Directed by Sujeeth and produced by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari under the DVV Entertainment banner, OG is slated for a theatrical release on September 25, 2025. The film has already created a stir with the release of two teasers, two posters, and two songs. The promotional campaign is expected to intensify as the film approaches its release date.

The makers of OG are planning a grand pre-release event in Vijayawada on September 20, where another song is expected to be unveiled. Given the massive hype surrounding the film, the event promises to be a spectacle, with Pawan Kalyan and the cast, including Priyanka Arul Mohan and Emraan Hashmi, likely to make appearances.

OG boasts an ensemble cast, with Pawan Kalyan playing Ojas Gambheera, a ruthless gangster returning to Mumbai after a decade. Emraan Hashmi makes his Telugu debut as the main antagonist, Omi Bhau, while Priyanka Arul Mohan plays the female lead, Kanmani. The film also stars Arjun Das, Prakash Raj, Sriya Reddy, Shaam, and Harish Uthaman in pivotal roles.

The technical team includes cinematographers Ravi K. Chandran and Manoj Paramahamsa, editor Naveen Nooli, and production designer A. S. Prakash. The action sequences are being choreographed by a large team of stunt directors, including Peter Hein, Dhilip Subbarayan, and Stunt Silva, suggesting that the film will lean heavily on stylized combat and set pieces.

Previously released promotional material includes a glimpse titled "Hungry Cheetah" on September 3, 2023, and two singles, "Firestorm" on August 2, 2025, and "Suvvi Suvvi" on August 27, 2025. Another glimpse, "HBD OG - LOVE OMI," was released on September 2, 2025, coinciding with Pawan Kalyan's birthday.

Director Sujeeth has clarified that "OG" stands for "Ojas Gambheera," the name of Pawan Kalyan's character. The name Ojas signifies a master or fight master, while Gambheera denotes strength and dignity.
